For people who buy altcoins, how do you guys justify your decisions of accumulate more now or hold and wait to do it later instead of emotionally buying?

Am new to this and my portfolio today went for the first time 20eu higher. I know this does not justify a decision to accumulate more of my coins, i also researched some micro positive news also but that doesn't justify it either.

I've researched a lot and learned a lot the last 2 weeks and i know what i experience now is a emotional fomo and thoughts of what if the next bull cycle is around the door and i miss out on the chance of buying more ?

But i also know that this bull cycle if it comes might not be like the past cycles because many things are different from the past that might affect positively or negatively the cycle and market in general.

I have researched the projects and coins i own and i believe in them and their areas and i would accumulate anyway more little by little. Just seeing these "positive" little things affects you if you are new and don't have experience in the cycles and the volatility of prices moving up or down.

Am wondering how you experienced investors who are into altcoins justify your decision of buying more, waiting and dealing with the FOMO factor.

And before some people comment which they will comment about btc and eth, i know they are the best and safest investments but i chose altcoins for a higher potential upside and i also accepted the risks going with them... So please if you're gonna mention btc or eth, explain and justify your opinion on why alts are not good to invest in with details...
